I’ve always wanted to be in a rock band and my attempt to play the bass when I was 15 was a dismal failure. I quickly realized that I’d be much better off listening to music rather than torturing folks with my lame attempt at creating something that didn’t sound like music at all. My dream of rock stardom was shattered. The huge paychecks and the handsome groupies with the British accents would never materialize so I sold my bass and bought some new records. Or maybe I bought a new bra. I really don’t remember.
