The Goat Whisperer

I think she can communicate with spiders too. I say this because last night she was ready for bed, looked up at the ceiling and asked “What’s that?” My husband and I turned to see the biggest, furriest, most disgusting spider we had ever encountered in our lives. I said “Oh, that’s a cute little baby spider, will you look after him and make sure he’s okay tonight?” My husband winced because he actually has spider nightmares on a regular basis. She looked at the huge spider, laughed and said “Okay” turned over and proceeded to go to sleep. She woke up today with her face still intact and asked where the spider was. I told her he was on his way to Daddy’s underwear drawer.

What’s even more amazing is that you told her it was a baby spider and she believed you. How big does she think Daddy spiders are? This babe ain’t gonna be fazed by anything, for sure.

Well I think she would have pet it if I were brave enough to get within three feet of it. Yes, she’s a tough one. The spider is still lurking though, he scurried into the kitchen today. I will be sleeping with one eye open tonight.

What is it with men and creepy crawly things? I thought they were supposed to be the fearless ones.
