I'm A Dork

I openly admit to being a dork. It comes naturally to me. According to Bob and Schlomo’s Dictionary, a dork is a ridiculous person. I think I fit that description pretty well. I try to be cool. Sometimes I can pull it off, but most of the time? DORK.
So last night I was sitting with the television tuned to an utterly horrible show about a family of little people with 14 1/2 children. They live on a farm in Nebraska and raise thoroughbred spiders. This show was so electrifying I decided to browse the Internet while I half watched little Jebbadiah-Joeseffiah wrangle a spider and attempt to put a tiny saddle on him (I know, I’m dorky for even watching this show) I then decided to Google my own blog (dorky, but everyone does it, right? Right?) According to my search I’ve been nominated for a Blogger’s Choice Award for best humor blog. Huh? How come I wasn’t aware of this? Nobody told me (dork in the dark) I checked the site to see who nominated me.
Melon.
Who?
Melon. Who or what is a Melon? Okay, you know you’re a dork when someone named Melon nominates you for a crappy blog award.
And get this, I have 4 votes. Okay 5. I voted for myself once. Who were the others you ask? Well, one was from a man in the Philippines who commented that my blog was “very informative.” Really? Have you actually read my blog? Glad he finds Fritos and giant heads informative.

But Melon better come forward soon or I’m going to be one mad dorky blogger.

    Yay for Melon! Spiders wearing saddles – my nightmare. Since moving to this giant island I have developed an intense fear of the 8-legged creatures. Seriously I can relate to your husband!! I woke up with large bites on my leg and am not anticipating much sleep tonight!
