No.
I truly love my cats but I draw the line at dressing them up in silly outfits. That’s why I had children. Duh.
Kiwi somehow managed to snatch a Barbie head (we have lots of them) from the secret Barbie head vault and propped it up on the arm of this chair. She sat there for hours. Guarding it. Watching it. I thought she might eat it because her ass is getting so very large I suspect she’s been eating other things lying around the house. Batteries, condoms, pickles, squirrel droppings, barbed wire, etc…
She finally left her perch after my daughter Reese attempted to wrap her in aluminum foil and put her in the oven like a baked potato.
That’s it. All I’ve got today. Silly cat blog post. But it’s Friday and I’m dying for my husband to get home so he can take over the parenting bit while I sleep. Or drink. Either way I can’t lose.
Don’t forget Monday is “Gobbledygook Day.” I’ll be attempting to write a somewhat cohesive post with six paragraphs I’ve received from other writers around the globe. Should be a fine mess.

Hey, Kiwi isn’t fat, she is curvy. And the Barbie head was symbolic, a way to say “we are watching you”. So she needed another set of eye so the symbolism was WE and not I.
Moral of the story? You don’t need to have a cat to be a crazy cat lady. I do just fine, thankyouverymuch.

Your cat must be very good natured. Any attempt at wrapping my old feline in a blankie much less a sheet of tin foil resulted in deep bleeding wounds and sneak attacks from high perches for the rest of the week in retaliation. My cat was a Machievellian mastermind.

So speaking of cats and bonnets…we had to put a lamp shade on our kitty because she just had surgery and can’t lick her stitches. The Barbie head is a Barbie head and creepy by definition. In fact ‘Creepy Barbie head’ is a bit of an oxymoron.
